Powerful Prayer to Destroy the Spirit of Death in Jesus’ Name

Heavenly Father, I come before You today in the matchless and mighty name of 

Jesus Christ, Your Son, my Savior, and Deliverer. I enter into Your courts with 

thanksgiving and into Your gates with praise. I thank You that the blood of Jesus 

has given me access to the throne of grace. Thank You, Father, for Your mercy and 

unfailing love. Thank You for the finished work of Jesus on the cross, which gives 

me the legal right to be delivered, healed, and set free from every power of 

darkness, including the spirit of death.

Father, I humble myself before You, and I plead the blood of Jesus over my body, 

soul, and spirit. I repent for every sin I have committed—knowingly or 

unknowingly—that opened the door to the spirit of death. I confess, renounce, 

and turn away from every work of darkness, every sin of hatred, bitterness, 

unforgiveness, fear, rejection, rage, violence, and rebellion. I repent for every 

word curse I have spoken over myself, saying things like "I wish I were dead," 

"What's the point of living?" or "Nothing good ever happens to me." I cancel every 

one of those curses now in Jesus’ name.

Lord, I repent on behalf of my ancestors for the sins of murder, abortion, suicide, 

witchcraft, occultism, freemasonry, blood covenants, and any idolatrous practices 

that opened the door for the spirit of death to enter my generational line. I break 

and renounce every generational curse, every bloodline agreement, and every 

demonic contract made by my forefathers that have allowed the spirit of death to 

linger in my life or in the lives of my family members. I cancel every covenant with 

death, and I declare that it shall not stand, neither shall it come to pass according 

to Isaiah 28:18.

Spirit of death, I come against you in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. You foul

unclean spirit sent to steal, kill, and destroy, I serve you an eviction notice today. 

The blood of Jesus is against you. I bind you, I rebuke you, and I cast you out now in the name of Jesus. You have no more legal right. I command you to go into the 

abyss. Leave my life, my mind, my health, my family, my ministry, my destiny, and 

my future. Every assignment of premature death, be canceled now in Jesus’ name. 

Every spirit of suicide, go now. Every spirit of despair, come out. Every spirit of 

trauma, fear of dying, obsession with death, come out in Jesus’ name.

I come against every spirit of abortion, miscarriage, and stillbirth that has targeted 

my womb or the wombs of the women in my family. I declare healing and life over 

every unborn child. I speak restoration over every place that death has touched. I 

declare the blood of Jesus speaks a better word than death, than rejection, than 

despair. I choose life! I choose blessing! I choose the will of God over my life, 

which is abundant life in Christ.

Lord, I break every curse of death spoken over me by doctors, teachers, authority 

figures, parents, or by myself. I cancel the power of every diagnosis of terminal 

illness, chronic pain, or mental affliction. I speak life into my body. I speak 

resurrection power into my organs, my brain, my cells, my blood, and my immune 

system. Let every dying part of my body receive new life now in Jesus’ name. Let 

the resurrection power of the Holy Spirit raise me up from every grave the enemy 

has prepared for me.

Father, I forgive every person who has cursed me, rejected me, abused me, 

abandoned me, or hated me. I forgive those who spoke death into my life—

whether through their words, actions, or attitudes. I bless them. I release them. I 

release myself. I forgive myself for every decision, every mistake, every sin that 

I’ve held in guilt and shame. I nail it all to the cross. Jesus died once for all. I 

receive Your forgiveness, Lord. I declare I am free from condemnation, free from 

self-hatred, free from self-pity, free from self-destruction, and free from the victim 

spirit in the name of Jesus. I renounce every spirit of rejection, abandonment, and unworthiness that opened 

the door to death. I break every tie to the spirit of death rooted in trauma, in birth 

experiences, in unwanted pregnancies, and in family rejection. I declare that I am 

accepted in the Beloved (Ephesians 1:6). I declare I am chosen, I am wanted, I am 

loved, and I am filled with divine purpose. I declare that my life matters. My life is 

hidden with Christ in God, and I shall live and not die to declare the works of the 

Lord.

Every spirit of self-harm, mutilation, cutting, tattooing, or torment, I command 

you to come out in Jesus’ name. You have no place in my life. I renounce every 

ritual, every covenant, every defilement, and every spiritual tattoo that opened 

the door to death. I plead the blood of Jesus over every mark, every memory, and 

every identity that has been defiled, and I ask You, Lord, to cleanse and restore me 

to wholeness.

I break the power of every death spirit connected to mental illness—

schizophrenia, bipolar disorder, depression, PTSD, anxiety, psychosis, 

hallucinations, intrusive thoughts, and suicidal ideation. I declare in the name of 

Jesus that I have the mind of Christ. I am not double-minded. I am not tormented. 

I command every tormenting spirit to leave me now in the mighty name of Jesus.

Every curse of accidental death, tragedy, and repeated loss—I break your power! I 

destroy every assignment of the destroyer in Jesus’ name. I cancel every 

appointment with death, every grave dug in advance, every funeral prematurely 

planned, every obituary written by hell—I cancel them by fire in Jesus’ name! I 

cover myself with the blood of Jesus. I declare that I am under the protection of 

Psalm 91. A thousand may fall at my side and ten thousand at my right hand, but 

it will not come near me.

I release the fire of the Holy Ghost against every demon of destruction, trauma, 

murder, and sudden disaster. I break every pattern of accidents, surgeries, miscarriages, drownings, overdoses, heart attacks, strokes, and disease running 

through my bloodline. I uproot the spirit of death that has claimed the lives of my 

ancestors, and I declare it will not claim me, my children, or my children’s children. 

I prophesy a new lineage—one of life, blessing, fruitfulness, and favor.

Father, fill every place in me that death once occupied. Fill me with resurrection 

life. Fill me with the joy of the Lord. Fill me with fresh fire, power, and boldness. 

Let the Holy Spirit flood my soul and body. Baptize me again with fresh oil. Let 

every dark, dead, or dry area come alive now in the name of Jesus.

I speak to every gift and calling that has been buried under discouragement, 

despair, and spiritual death—I command it to arise! I call forth every buried 

destiny. I break the chains that held my future captive. Every plan the enemy tried 

to kill—I command resurrection now. Every open door the enemy tried to shut—I 

prophesy divine reopening. Every dream the enemy tried to poison—I declare 

holy restoration in Jesus’ name.

Lord Jesus, You conquered death, hell, and the grave. You are the Resurrection 

and the Life. You swallowed up death in victory. Therefore, I shall not fear. I shall 

not die but live. I shall not be bound, but I shall walk in freedom. I speak life to my 

home, life to my marriage, life to my finances, life to my ministry, life to my 

children, life to my mind, life to my heart, and life to my body in Jesus’ name.

Thank You, Lord, that no weapon formed against me shall prosper, and every 

tongue that rises against me in judgment I condemn. Thank You that death has

lost its sting and the grave its victory. Thank You that I am seated in heavenly 

places far above all principality and power. Thank You for covering me, for keeping 

me, for loving me, and for empowering me to walk in freedom. I seal this prayer in the blood of Jesus. I declare that the spirit of death is utterly 

defeated in my life. I am free. I am whole. I am alive in Christ. I shall fulfill all the 

days appointed to me in the book of life. I shall walk in power, purpose, and 

peace, in Jesus' mighty name.
