 Healing Miracles of Jesus

  1. Jesus Heals a Leper
    Matthew 8:2-3: “And behold, a leper came and worshiped Him, saying, 'Lord, if You are willing, You can make me clean.' Then Jesus put out His hand and touched him, saying, 'I am willing; be cleansed.' Immediately his leprosy was cleansed.”

  2. Healing the Centurion's Servant
    Matthew 8:5-13; Luke 7:1-10: Jesus heals the centurion's servant from a distance after marveling at the centurion's faith.

  3. Jesus Heals Peter’s Mother-in-Law

    Mark 7:31-37: Jesus heals a man who was deaf and had a speech impediment by putting His fingers in his ears and touching his tongue.

  15. Healing the Blind Man at Bethsaida
    Mark 8:22-26: Jesus heals a blind man in two stages by spitting on his eyes and laying hands on him.

  16. Healing the Boy with a Seizure
    Matthew 17:14-21; Mark 9:14-29; Luke 9:37-43: Jesus heals a boy possessed by a demon after the disciples failed to cast it out.

  17. Healing the Blind Man Bartimaeus
    Matthew 20:29-34; Mark 10:46-52; Luke 18:35-43: Jesus restores sight to Bartimaeus, a blind beggar, because of his faith.

  18. Healing the Ten Lepers
    Luke 17:11-19: Jesus heals ten lepers, but only one, a Samaritan, returns to thank Him.

  19. Healing the Man Born Blind
    John 9:1-12: Jesus heals a man born blind by making mud with His saliva, applying it to the man’s eyes, and telling him to wash in the Pool of Siloam.

  20. Raising Lazarus from the Dead
    John 11:1-44: Jesus raises Lazarus from the dead after he had been in the tomb for four days.

Healing by the Apostles

  1. Healing the Lame Man at the Beautiful Gate
    Acts 3:1-10: Peter heals a man lame from birth at the gate of the temple called Beautiful.

  2. Healing Many in Jerusalem
    Acts 5:12-16: The apostles perform many signs and wonders, and people are healed when Peter’s shadow falls on them.

  3. Philip Heals in Samaria
    Acts 8:5-8: Philip heals many who were paralyzed or lame, and there was great joy in the city.

  4. Healing Aeneas
    Acts 9:32-35: Peter heals Aeneas, a man paralyzed for eight years, in Lydda.

  5. Raising Tabitha (Dorcas) from the Dead
    Acts 9:36-42: Peter raises Tabitha from the dead in Joppa.

  6. Paul Heals a Cripple in Lystra
    Acts 14:8-10: Paul heals a man in Lystra who was lame from birth.

  7. Healing through Handkerchiefs and Aprons
    Acts 19:11-12: God performs extraordinary miracles through Paul, so that handkerchiefs and aprons that touched him were used to heal the sick and cast out demons.

  8. Raising Eutychus from the Dead
    Acts 20:7-12: Paul raises Eutychus from the dead after he falls from a window during Paul’s long sermon.

  9. Paul Heals Publius' Father and Many on Malta
    Acts 28:8-9: Paul heals the father of Publius and many others on the island of Malta.

Promises of Healing

  1. Jesus' Commission to Heal the Sick
    Matthew 10:1; Luke 9:1-2: Jesus gave His disciples power over unclean spirits to cast them out and to heal all kinds of sickness and disease.

  2. Jesus' Promise to Believers
    Mark 16:17-18: “And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they will cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues… they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover.”

  3. By His Stripes, We Are Healed
    Isaiah 53:5; 1 Peter 2:24: “By His stripes we are healed” refers to the healing and restoration available through Jesus’ atonement.

  4. Call for the Elders of the Church
    James 5:14-15: “Is anyone among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the church, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord. And the prayer of faith will save the sick, and the Lord will raise him up.”
