10. Burial Praise – The King Laid in the Tomb

O Eternal King, Yeshua, we exalt Your name for the majesty of Your humility! The King of Glory, Creator of all, chose to lay down His life in the quiet stillness of a borrowed tomb. You, who held the universe in Your hands, allowed Your body to be placed among the dead, yet in that surrender, You achieved the greatest victory.

We praise You for stripping the fangs of death, disarming the power of Sheol, and breaking the chains that bound humanity. Through Your burial, the gates of the grave trembled, the shadows of the pit quivered, and the eternal light of redemption began to shine. You, the Lion of Judah, willingly entered the realm of death to release the captives who had long awaited freedom.

Blessed are You, O Savior, for this deliberate act of obedience, for this moment of quiet triumph. While the world saw only a lifeless body, Heaven beheld the unfolding of Your glory. The promise of resurrection was already woven into this act; the victory was sealed even as You rested on the Sabbath, fulfilling prophecy, and demonstrating perfect alignment with the Father’s will.

We glorify You for the courage of this surrender, for the wisdom of this pause between suffering and triumph. Through Your burial, You became the champion over death, the liberator of souls, the one who turned mourning into praise, despair into hope. The stone may have closed, but the power within You could not be contained. You are the firstborn from the dead, the Author of Life, and the Eternal King who laid down His life so that all who believe may rise with You.

Hallelujah to Your name forever! Your burial is not an end, but the precursor to the resurrection, the dawn of victory, and the eternal reign of the King who loved us enough to conquer death itself.
