📜 Scroll of Praise and Worship from the Book of Isaiah

 

🔹I. The Holiness of the Lord (Isaiah 6:1-3)

“In the year that King Uzziah died,
I saw the Lord sitting upon a throne, high and lifted up;
and the train of His robe filled the temple.
Above Him stood the seraphim.
Each had six wings: with two he covered his face,
and with two he covered his feet,
and with two he flew.
And one called to another and said:
‘Holy, holy, holy is the LORD of hosts;
the whole earth is full of His glory!’”

🔹II. Praise for God’s Sovereign Power (Isaiah 40:12-14)

“Who has measured the waters in the hollow of His hand
and marked off the heavens with a span,
enclosed the dust of the earth in a measure,
and weighed the mountains in scales
and the hills in a balance?
Who has directed the Spirit of the LORD,
or as His counselor has instructed Him?”

🔹III. The Lord Our Redeemer and Creator (Isaiah 43:1-3)

“But now thus says the LORD,
He who created you, O Jacob,
He who formed you, O Israel:
‘Fear not, for I have redeemed you;
I have called you by name, you are Mine.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you;
when you walk through fire you shall not be burned,
and the flame shall not consume you.
For I am the LORD your God,
the Holy One of Israel, your Savior.’”

🔹IV. The Majesty of God’s Throne (Isaiah 66:1-2)

“Thus says the LORD:
‘Heaven is my throne, and the earth is my footstool;
what is the house that you would build for me,
and what is the place of my rest?
All these things my hand has made,
and so all these things came to be,’ declares the LORD.
But this is the one to whom I will look:
he who is humble and contrite in spirit,
and trembles at my word.’”

🔹V. The Lord’s Eternal Reign and Justice (Isaiah 9:6-7)

“For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given;
and the government shall be upon His shoulder,
and His name shall be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
Of the increase of His government and of peace
there will be no end,
on the throne of David and over His kingdom,
to establish it and to uphold it
with justice and with righteousness
from this time forth and forevermore.
The zeal of the LORD of hosts will do this.”
