📜 THE PARABLES: SEED, TRUTH, AND PEOPLE
1. The Parable of the Sower – Matthew 13:3-9; 18-23 (NKJV) “Behold, a sower went out to sow. And as he sowed, some seed fell by the wayside... But others fell on good ground and yielded a crop…” Jesus explains: “The seed is the word of the kingdom…” (v.19) Key Meaning : The Seed = the Word of God (truth). The Ground = the heart condition of people. Satan comes to snatch the seed , choke it , or prevent its growth . It’s not literally about people as seeds, but about how the truth (Word) is received and what kind of spiritual growth it yields. 2. The Parable of the Weeds (Tares) – Matthew 13:24–30; 36–43 (NKJV) “The kingdom of heaven is like a man who sowed good seed in his field; but while men slept, his enemy came and sowed tares among the wheat and went his way.” Jesus explains (v. 37–39): Sower of good seed = Son of Man (Jesus) The field = The world Good seeds = sons of the kingdom Tares (weeds) = sons of the wicked one Enem...
