Ha-Shem (ha-SHEM) translates to "The Name" in Hebrew, emphasizing the significance and reverence associated with God's name. In the Bible, God’s name signifies His glory, power, holiness, protection, trust, and love. To invoke His name is to call upon His presence, authority, and power. Lord, teach me what it means to honor you as Ha-Shem, to call upon, rely upon, and praise your holy name. Help me never to take your name in vain, but rather to live in a way that glorifies your name.
